Taleen Mena, Board Member & Senior Professional Career Coach (SPCC)

Taleen Mena is WFP’s Board Member and Senior Career Coach (SPCC). She comes to this work with over 10 years of professional human resources experience specializing in the areas of learning and talent development, performance management, and project management.

She has experience working with seniors leaders building out talent development functions as well as supporting the growth of individual contributors through coaching and mentoring. Most recently Taleen worked for Blue Shield of California, based out of Los Angeles, CA. In this role she designed and built a senior leadership development program, supporting the succession needs of senior leaders across the organization.

Recently Taleen has stepped away from a more formal corporate role and has started her own consulting business where she focuses on career coaching fellow working mothers, like herself. Taleen is a Senior Professional Career Coach (SPCC) trained through the International Association of Career Coaches (IACC).

She has a BS and PsyD in Psychology, is a Certified Yoga Instructor, and volunteers with Step Up Women’s Network, mentoring young women.

Having just recently moved to the Westchester area, she loves to spend her time exploring outdoors with her husband, daughter and dog.
